My school days have always been the best part of life, and why not! These are the most memorable days one can ever have with so many funny and crazy moments. And if you have been a student of “Pearls of God”you will always have these nostalgic and unforgettable moments which i will carry in your heart forever. That moment when you had to sing early morning prayer,The three houses:Red,Blue,Green and the competition among them. We all were pretty excited in curricular activities as we called CCA,singing”goooood morning sir/madam..”in the same tune when a teacher enters the classroom,That weird feeling when you reach late in the school and stand outside the gate while others are offering prayers in the assembly ground and after that getting excited and running to our seats when the teacher comes with a bundle of unit test paper.Every Single day of my school life has been very memorable. It’s very difficult for me to choose and cite one particular moment of that beautiful journey. During sports days,I used to work for the “houses” and scout troop. Drawing the chalk lines on the ground or putting flag poles, that was fun.During this time,we laughed,we cried,we broke. Got happy, and sad.got great grades sometimes got failed. Attended funfairs and bunked classes. My class-fellows,guys are some of the most amazing people I know and I’m going to miss them. What we are today, all are the efforts of our worthy teachers. I thank you for being there when I needed you.The building of school means a lot to me,and I’m sure I can never forget it.it saddens me now that I realize I will never be coming back here again in school uniform I still remember the last day of my roll call. In this way,I had an amazing experience being a “OYSTERIAN”.While some of my friends had just spent their +2 solving the differential equations and remembering the organic reactions I was gearing up for scout adventure activities. Thus, being a “OYSTERIAN” is a very unique experience.

“Pearls of God” is not just an institution but my second home. This institution has played one of the key role in developing my academic career and laid the foundation of my present success. I am blessed to be an alumnus of Pearls of God. The guidance from Principal, Secretary and Teachers are noteworthy. My leadership qualities were first identified by Principal Sir. And that lead me in becoming Vice Prefect in Class 8, Prefect in Class 9 and finally Captain for the rest of the three years in school. The discipline of Pearls of God is worth a mention. Along with strict hours of study, students are highly encouraged for extra-curricular activities for a better upbringing. Concert days, Sports Days, Pinnacle days, Fete etc.Pearls of God is full of memories. A limited space is not enough to share all of those. I am that attached with the school that even today I often dream that I am in school and attending classes.

One thing that I can say about my school is – ” I never missed home whenever I was in school ! ” This was Pearls Of God to me. I have immense memories in this school. I could not have got better mentors and friends than this. Nurturing me from an innocent kid to a bold captain, it has done all. I am really indebted to school for all of its teachings and values that has made me a person as I am. Our principal Sir is the friendliest principal I have ever known. He has supported me throughout my journey and was like a father to me. I wish all the current students lots of best wishes and a very bright future. I am proud to be an Oysterian.

I joined Pearls of God after my I.C.S.E. and for the very first time I felt that really school is our second home! I will not mention the name of my previous school but P.O.G gave me the best memories of school life. Environment plays a real important part in your schooling years and P.O.G has a beautiful environment with all the respected teachers there. They made me feel like home. Whenever I had any difficulties in understanding any portions I never felt hesitant to ask the teachers for a second or even a fourth time! And obviously if I’m writing about P.O.G I can never end it without mentioning about our Principal Sir. Yes I’m an ex student of P.O.G but Sir is and will always remain as a father figure to me.

A school is a place where we gain our basic knowledge. For anyone, the school they studied would bethe most unforgettable place in the world. My school is known for its standard in bringing out best students every year. The most amazing days of my life when there was no responsibility of real world but a huge tension of completing homework in a given period of time. The days when Superman, Batman, Spiderman and all such characters were our heroes and role-models. The days when we used to thought of growing up very soon and always try to imitate like a matured grown-up person. The days when Recess, which was our favourite time period in school always seemed to be very small. In those days we used to get angry on our school as it was responsible for our busy life but Today when we pass through our school, we keep watching it and start recalling all the fun that we did in those days.Today these moments have become sweet memories of our life. These moments are so beautiful that they make our eyes wet with a smile when we recall it. I am proud to be a part of my school.

P for being Pro- active, O for showing Optimism, G for Growth. PEARLS OF GOD is for the pupil, by the Pupil & of the Pupil. It truly helps oysterians to portray the real meaning of the “EDUCATION”. Wish Oysterians all the best for the day & for all the future endeavors.
